""Summarize the main points of this session""
""Were there any votes? What were the results?""
""Generate a press release about this session""
""What were the different positions on this topic?""
3. Smart Alert System

Alerts are based on a personalized "prompt" that you write. Each time a parliamentary session is completed, our AI analyzes the full transcript using your prompt to decide if there's something relevant for you.
A summary of why the session is relevant to you
Specific textual quotes from the transcript
Context about who spoke and what was discussed
Find the "Alerts" link in the left sidebar menu of the platform.
Use the toggle button to activate the alert system for your account.
In the text field, describe exactly which topics interest you. This is the most important step!
Click "Save" and alerts will start working with upcoming sessions.
The key to success: BE SPECIFIC
The difference between receiving useful alerts and spam lies in how specific you are. Avoid very general terms that appear in many sessions.
Very general terms to avoid:
Be more specific:
"I want to be alerted about mining regulations, especially about toxic waste treatment, environmental permits for mining projects, and any discussion about the water code in relation to mining. Also about bills that specifically mention copper, lithium, or mining exploitation in general."
Specific, with clear context and relevant technical terms
"Alert about discussions on higher education, especially university funding, CAE reform (State-Guaranteed Credit), any mention of the Ministry of Education in budgets, and debates on university access. Also about representative Maria Gonzalez when she speaks on educational topics."
Mentions specific topics, relevant acronyms and a person of interest
"Notify me about bill 12524-06 that modifies the Labor Code, any mention of labor reform, discussions about the 40-hour work week, and when the Minister of Labor speaks. Also about votes related to labor rights."
Includes specific bill number and technical terms from the field
"Interest in discussions about diabetes, especially food labeling law, regulation of ultra-processed products, and budget for type 2 diabetes prevention programs. Also about representative Ana Silva when she participates in the Health Committee."
Specific health topic with legislative context and relevant person
Instead of "health", specify:
Mention the committees you're interested in:
If you follow specific laws:
Representatives, senators or ministers:
Frequently mentioned entities:
Specific parliamentary language:
"student loan, university credit, student financing" captures more variations of the same topic.
"Votes on..." or "Minister interventions on..." or "Urgencies related to...".
As your interests change or new topics arise, update your prompt to maintain relevance.
If you receive too many alerts: Your prompt is too general. Make it more specific.
If you don't receive enough alerts: Your prompt may be too specific. Broaden the terms a bit.
If you don't receive any alerts: Verify that alerts are activated and that your prompt uses terms that actually appear in sessions. If you prefer, contact the Parlamento.ai team and we'll help you configure your alerts.
